What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?
A transparent device that can make certain Pokemon species evolve. It was created by Silph Co.
The upgrader for items adds a new widget at the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no other benefit to the game, aside from making it easier to purchase upgrades.

With an upgrader for your item you can enjoy many bonuses. These could include stats and extra bonuses. These bonuses can be incorporated into weapons or armor, as well trinkets. They can be used to improve the capabilities of a character, or they can be added as an aspect of variety to the build.
The World of Warcraft upgrade system allows players to upgrade their equipment by paying a currency fee to an upgrader for items. This system was introduced in Mists of Pandaria and was continued with the arrival of Warlords of Draenor. It's a good way to increase the level of your equipment, allowing you skip the tedious grind of questing and avoid numerous wipes in Mythicand dungeons.
When an item is upgraded its type of base changes. Upgrading a normal item will result in an item that is Exceptional and upgrading an Exceptional item will result in an elite version of the same base item. The item will keep its pre-upgrade stats, and will also receive an additional bonus of its new base type. This bonus is randomly chosen. It could be a weapon with an increased damage range, a faster speed of reloading, or enhanced max defense roll.
The amount of upgrades you do will determine the amount of extras you receive. Each upgrade will boost the additional benefits by a factor of one, up to a maximum of three. Additionally, every upgrade will also boost the main stat by +1.
Some upgrades also provide additional random boosts in addition to stat enhancements. These boosts are extremely beneficial and must be considered when choosing which items to upgrade. Certain boosts can only be used in certain designs (such the Whistan's Shield, which is for FB Sorcs) While others are valuable to collectors.
Some items come with built-in boos, which is less useful when upgraded. For example, the Goldwrap provides extra slots for potion. These are often upgraded to add value to a nearly perfect item.
Costs
There are a few costs related to upgrades of items. The first is the cost for the upgrade. This cost can be expensive and is contingent on the new ilvl of the item and the number of perks it receives. It can also be costly to upgrade an item to a better tier (such as Explorer > Champion, or Veteran > Heroic).
The other is the cost of the items required to upgrade. These items are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons or a specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor Quests. These materials can be found in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
It takes time to upgrade an item. It could take as long as 8 hours depending on the size of an upgrade. The base stats of an upgraded item are calculated based upon its new ilvl and other properties. This calculation determines new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, and other important statistics. In certain cases the upgrade will provide additional advantages that can be picked from a list of benefits.
Rarely, the new perks obtained will cost more than one perk slot; in these situations, the upgrade will only replace the most expensive perks. Sometimes, the upgrader will make other changes to an item, like changing the type of weapon damage or removing or adding an operative or unwieldy property. These modifications are based on the item's ilvl and may require special materials, like adamantine.
Success Rate
The process of upgrading an item is based on the chance. Like any random system there is a chance that it will not succeed. However, there are some things which can improve the odds of success. This includes using an Upgrade Pity or adding additional materials to your upgrade.
The Upgrade Pity is available through the NPC for the smithing process in Lost Ark. It increases the odds of a successful upgrade by a certain percentage. This is similar to the luck bonus certain items offer, but is more stable. It can be added to any weapon or armor, and can be used up to three times.
You can also add additional materials to the upgrade to increase the chances of success. These materials are displayed in a window above the + button. However, there are limitations to this, and the maximum amount of material that can be added is shown directly above the + button in the UI.
A Blacksmith Blessing, or an upgraded version of it can be used to increase the likelihood of an upgrade succeeding. This item is useful if your weapon or piece is near or has reached the highest level of its level. This item allows you to upgrade the equipment to the next level without the risk of breaking.
If an upgrade fails it will be restored to its initial state. This is usually a downgrade, but could also be an upgrade. Keep an upgrade in reserve until you are nearing the maximum level of an item.
Kafra has a number of items that can be used to increase the chance of an upgrade being successful. For instance upgrading an equipment with HD Oridecon or HD Elunium multiple times will give you a higher chance of success. The chance of success will be enhanced if you boost the chance of getting a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.
Failure Rate
The upgrader of an item allows players to add an extra slot in their equipment. The slots can be used to upgrade an item or apply an enchantment. However, it is important to remember that not all items can be upgraded. The enchantment and upgrade rate is dependent on the rank of the item. The higher the rank, the more Zen and items you will need to upgrade it.
This system can be very expensive, particularly for top-of-the-line gear. Upgrades to weapons and armor can cost up to 100,000 Z or 100 Carnium. As you rise in rank, the chance of success decreases. You can increase the chances of upgrading an item making use of cash shop items.
Normal Upgrade is the most basic upgrade that can be carried out on armor pieces, weapons and bikes. It uses different grades of cores based on the item type. In general, items with lower grades will require lower grade cores and higher-end items will require higher priced ones.
You must have the proper number of cores to perform a normal upgrade. Click the button next to the item you want to upgrade once you have the cores. The upgrade window will show a percentage indication of your chances of success. This percentage is determined by the level of upgrade for the item and the core kind you have selected.
You can also choose a safeguard that will protect your item in the event of failure. The cost of this protection will differ but will always be less expensive than the cost of buying a new item. The protection can only be used one time per upgrade and will not expire until used again.
The UI for the item upgrader can be a bit confusing, but it is not impossible to navigate. The main menu is displayed on the left and the upgrade window on the right. The arrows to the left of the UI indicate the different stages of the upgrade process. Click the question mark icon to receive assistance if you're not sure what you're doing. The process of upgrading could take as long as five minutes.
