Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a special item that will make certain Pokemon develop. The Upgrade is made by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's often given as a prize at Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be applied to armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, as well as gathering tools in order to raise their item level. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, based on the item type.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer attribute bonuses or additional effects when the equipment is used. The item being upgraded must have an upgrade slot to accept the component, and most upgrade components require the item being upgraded to be above an amount. Some upgrade item s have special visual effects that appear when they are applied. Upgrade components can be acquired through crafting, purchased from karma sellers or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post or taken from equipment, or obtained as rewards during games.
There are a variety of upgrade components available, each offering various bonuses. Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions can be used on any kind of equipment. They also offer lower bonuses than other kinds of upgrade components. Infusions are utilized in non-amulet equipment that is ascended and legendary equipment, while enrichments are used for some items that have been ascended. Slotting in an upgrade component will destroy the previous upgrade. Exceptions are glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and then reinserted.
Insignias and enchantments will show their name in the hover display of the item, while upgrades that have a suffix or prefix will add their names to the end of the equipment name (e.g. for example, a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components added to an item will be displayed in the item's tooltip.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, such as ligatures, fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel lets you insert and view these special characters, along with regular symbols like em and en dashes as well as trademark symbols registered to be used.
Each Glyph provides a character with a boost in their primary stats. It also comes with up to four secondary stats that affect the radius of the glyph on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats can be described as a %-increase that is multiplied when other bonuses have been applied in addition to Speed Glyphs which directly increase the speed of the hero.
Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will open a new window showing the Glyphs you have that can be applied to the selected item. You can only apply the appropriate Glyph to the item you have selected. Each weapon, jewelry, or armor piece has its own collection of Glyphs.
You can increase the level of Glyphs by completing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult a dungeon is, the greater Glyph experience you will gain. Once a Glyph has reached the level 15, it can be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The radius of the Paragon Board increases by one node for each 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.
When a Glyph is at the desired level, it is possible to activate it. Select it and click the "enchant button". The resulting Glyph will give its stated benefit, and will also increase the number of nodes within its radius on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be placed where they will benefit your build the most. This is why you should prioritize Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. The glyphs that are rare may offer dual bonuses in the event that certain conditions are met which is why they're worth checking out for too.
If you're having difficulty finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a number of perspectives. Each view displays the Glyphs using a different font. You can reduce the number of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option beneath "Entire Font". For example, punctuation only displays punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the selection to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling involves creating an account with a brand new username in order to increase your chances of obtaining the weapon or character you want. It can be done to level up faster, or to gain more valuable loot like an additional weapon for your character. Many players roll again until they find the characters that they like regardless of their abilities. It could be that they like the design or the personality of the character.
It is important to make a clean change when you roll back. You should check locally if the patch passes pre-commit and run a core dev check. You should upload the patch with a clear distinction to a problem (see What is an interdiff?) ).

Rerolls can take days or weeks depending on how fortunate you are. To speed up the process avoid the enemy camps which are not mandatory during this time. Also, avoid repeating quests that you can complete later on in the game. This can save time and energy.
When rerolling, it's essential to be aware the upgrade system. There are numerous ways to enhance your character's appearance and power. This could include upgrading your weapons or characters, rerolling them and purchasing upgrades. Additionally, it is important to know the limitations of the upgrade system.
Rerolling isn't a required part of the game, however it can be beneficial to increase your chances of getting an item or character. You can use it to determine the best character or to test different styles of play and builds.
Sets
A set is an object collection having two common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets are used for operations such as intersection, union and difference.
When you upgrade an item, it transforms into an entirely new version that is better than the previous one. For armor and weapons this means it will gain an increase in the base defense and a lower strength requirement and an lower requirement for level.
Upgrades are an excellent method of bringing popular single-set items into the same level as their higher-tier set counterparts. For instance, upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to an Elite Spired Helm can increase the defense from 217 to 321 and reduces the strength requirement and level requirement to a lower range.
It is important to keep in mind that not all items in a set can be upgraded. Some sets, such as the FB Sorc spec's Whistan's Shield or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already Exceptional and Elite in their individual ways and do not need upgrading. Certain items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are frequently used may benefit from an upgrade to improve their performance. It may be worth it to upgrade these items.
